Painting and drawing are my longest-held art forms. In recent years I've focused most on acrylic painting, digital drawing, and creating repeating patterns. I'm most inspired to capture organic forms, architectural geometry, and fleeting moments.

Walking through Capitol Hill in Seattle, I was captivated by this image of colorful rubble studded by fall leaves. The message on the rectangular gray block took some time to make out. I styled the message, “PS LETS MAKE LOVE TILL THE SUN COMES UP,” in iridescent paint so that the viewer has to move in order to read it, changing from red to shimmering opal. It captures the joy of walking and noticing something small yet intriguing.
