Haunted House of the Future Tile in Rose

This tile tells a fictional story of a haunted house set in the future, inscribed with a story on the back. The design was inspired by and created during my time at a tile-making workshop at the Haystack Mountain School of Craft in Deer Isle, Maine.

Slip-cast in stoneware using a hand-carved plaster mold. Each iteration is hand-painted in unique colors and patterns before being cast, creating a monoprint that picks up some of the linework from the previous casting. This rose tile is accented with clear glaze and is sold at a lower price due to a hairline crack.

I recommend using a display stand with these piece, however you can add hanging hardware with epoxy if you prefer it on your wall. Stand not included.
